Dresses for Haiti

This is a letter I recently received from Billy Nealey, the director of mission to Haiti.



Dear Kim,

I hope this finds you doing well. I want to let you know that we were able to get the box of dresses to Haiti. Thank you so much to everyone who helped provide them. We packaged them with personal items and began giving them out last month.

Please keep Haiti in your prayers. I called our folks in Haiti today. The country is experiencing a lot of flooding. I was told that homes in our area were flooded. Roads in the outlying areas are not passible. Lord, willing, I will return to Haiti soon. I will check to see how the children and families are doing.

Thank you for all your prayers and support. Please let everyone know how much we appreciate these beautiful dresses.

SOLVED: the case of the missing floor

This morning, with the not so enthusiastic help of detectives Carter and Owen, I was able to find a floor that has been missing for quite some time. I knew it had to be there, but it was brilliantly camouflaged by some experts in the area of messonomics. It took a lot of sweat and determination, but after we made it through the layer of gum wrappers, drawings, books, bakugons and a few unidentifiable items, we found that we were able to walk from the doorway all the way to the beds without getting impaled by a thumbtack or injured by a Lego land mine. No more potentially tragic midnight trips to the bathroom...at least for now.
