Play Doh Robot

A little afternoon Play Doh fun with Lewis.

Wax Museum

Owen was Jerry Rice for the third grade wax museum. Had I known he wanted to be a football player, I would have recommended he be one of the many Vikings whose jerseys we own. But Jerry Rice he was. Thankfully, I know a nice lady who can sew ;) Grandma made a jersey and sent it down in time for the big day.

Nesting Vikings

Flat Owen the 1st may not have made it to Moscow in time, but I think Owen decided it was well worth the effort to create Flat Owen the 2nd when he received the most awesome nesting dolls in the world from his friend Jacob in the mail today.

Jacob and his family are living in Moscow for a couple years, so we thought it would be a terrific place to send Flat Owen (a third-grade school project). Unfortunately, Flat Owen the 1st took a 6 week detour . Maybe he decided to do some European site-seeing on his way to Moscow. (I got a phone call from Tara that he arrived in the mail this morning. I sent him on March 5.)

Owen is thrilled with the nesting dolls and the other Russian trinkets that were delivered today.

Soccer

It's not possible to not love this face! Corey decided since Lewis is one of the little guys, he chose to use intimidation by way of hopping from one foot to the other and making growling sounds. It seemed to work.
He wasn't exactly sure what he was doing, and he was probably the youngest kid out there, but I think he enjoyed his first game.

Who Needs a Bed?

When weaning a child from naptime, he sometimes falls asleep in strange places.

A Boys Life

I love it that my boys have men in their lives who encourage the adventurous, danger seeking heart that God placed inside of the them. Corey and Dave (pictured) took them out shooting a while back. Love this picture!
