A Not Quite So Belated as Carter's Birthday Post
Owen was so excited to go to Sky Zone for his birthday, but this mom did not make reservations and we had two things working against us. It was spring break and the weather outside was cold and yucky. So when we got there, they were at capacity and we had to come up with Plan B fast. Plan B was Incredible Pizza Company. The boys had fun, but Owen was pretty disappointed. But guess what? He survived. And I took him to Sky Zone a few weeks later.
Owen is pretty comfortable doing acrobatic stuff. Flips on trampolines. Flips off the diving board. Flips onto the couch cushions. If he has a soft place to land, he's not afraid to flip. On our "make-up" trip to Sky Zone, we had the place to ourselves (except for two little girls) almost the whole time. It was a ball!
A Very Very Belated Birthday Post
Okay, I'm getting ready to post some Lewis birthday pics and realize that I didn't post any Carter or Owen birthday pics. (Fail!) So, because I love each of my children equally, and because I actually turn this blog into a scrapbook each year using Blurb (which is awesome by the way), I want to make sure I document the milestones.
Thus, Carter's 11th birthday photos a little late. He doesn't turn 12 for a couple more months so I figure I'm still good :)
Carter had surgery a few days before his bday, so this party didn't take place until weeks after the fact. Who wants to have a birthday party when you aren't supposed to bend your leg...

Pizza, cake, Giant Jenga and a movie with friends. I'd say it was pretty much perfect. Carter has awesome friends by the way. I don't think I could have chosen better if I had picked them myself.

Soccer Boy
Lewis spends a lot of time on the ground. Every time he kicks he lands on his butt. I think he'd be excellent at sliding into base if he chose to play baseball.
Love how his tongue is hanging out in this one.
