Where the Sidewalk Ends

Notice all the neighborhood "wheels" parked at the end of our sidewalk and the boys playing beyond in the empty lot. How sad they will all be when one of their favorite places to play is replaced by a house. These guys are building houses and roads and plantations out of sand, rock, broken blocks and dirt.

Hangin' Out

This is how I found Lewis when I checked on him before bed last night. He must have been super-tired to fall asleep like this without a lot of crying. Not only are his legs hanging out the slats, but he is on his tummy and he rarely sleeps on his tummy.

3 Boys 3 Pumpkins

If you read my previous blog, you know that I took a million pictures today. As you can see by this photo, it was one too many for Baby Lewis.

A Day In The Life

Some days I take about a million pictures. Today was one of those days.
Lucky you.
There is nothing quite as perfect as a sleeping baby.
(Especially my sleeping baby, I'm slightly biased.)
My lower lip sure tastes good.
"Mom, he's spitting up again!" This photo may be a little gross, but cleaning up after Mister Spitty is a big part of my day. He has not surpassed his oldest brother in the spit department yet, though.
"What's all this yellow stuff on your head? It sure is fun to grab!"

Gotta Love Those Cheeks

Lewis has got the most kissable cheeks of any of my boys.
It looks like he's storing food for the winter inside.

From Pumpkin to Jack-O-Lantern

Grandma did the dirty work. (She's a better sport than I am.)
Uncle Keith carved a scary face while...
the boys drew some scary faces with Aunt Tomi.
